Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios being welcomed to Zimbabwe
Miss Universe, Sheynnis Palacios, has arrived in Africa on visit to Victoria Falls to promote Zimbabwean tourism.
The Miss Universe who hails from Nicaragua was warmly welcomed by Miniyothabo Baloyi-Chiwenga, patron of Miss Universe Zimbabwe, upon her arrival at Victoria Falls Airport on Wednesday morning, August 21, 2024.
Palacios, accompanied by Miss Universe Zimbabwe license holder, Tendel Hunda and a delegation of local and international partners, is exploring Zimbabwe’s tourism attractions.
During her visit, she engaged in activities in Harare before heading to Victoria Falls.
Her visit to Zimbabwe precedes the upcoming handover of her Miss Universe title in November this year.
Also, Palacios’ visit coincides with Nicaragua’s recent establishment of an embassy in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, underscoring the deepening ties between the two nations.
