Rasheedat Ajibade’s Transfer to PSG

Nigerian international and Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has completed her move to Paris Saint-Germain Féminine, signing a contract that runs until June 30, 2027. She joins the club on a free transfer after the expiration of her contract with Atlético Madrid. The 25-year-old forward is considered a key signing for PSG as they aim to challenge Lyon for the domestic title and strengthen their position in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The move reunites Ajibade with her Nigerian teammate Jennifer Echegini, who is also at the club. Known for her versatility, Ajibade is a key figure for both her club and country, having led the Super Falcons to a record-extending tenth Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title and being named the Player of the Tournament. Ajibade has expressed her excitement about the move, stating her commitment to helping PSG win titles and inspiring young footballers. She is expected to make her debut for the club in an upcoming league match.
