Nigeria’s Chidera Mbamara Shines at Mister International 2025, Finishes 3rd Runner-Up

Nigerian representative Chidera Bethel Mbamara has made the nation proud by finishing as the 3rd runner-up at the prestigious Mister International 2025 competition, held in Thailand. His outstanding performance also earned him the title of Mister International Africa.

Mbamara impressed judges and fans alike with his commanding stage presence, charisma, and confidence, securing his spot among the top five contestants on the global stage.

The ‘Ikpirikpi Ogu’ National Costume

One of the highlights of Mbamara’s run was his captivating national costume, named “Ikpirikpi Ogu.” This elaborate design was inspired by the Abiriba Warrior Dance from Ohafia in Abia State.

The striking outfit featured towering headgear, ancestral carvings, and detailed beadwork. The costume successfully symbolized courage, strength, and Nigeria’s rich, diverse cultural heritage, drawing widespread acclaim.

In addition to his top-five finish, Mbamara’s style and elegance were further recognized as he also took home the award for Most Fashionable Contestant, adding a second title to his list of achievements from the competition. His achievements underscore Nigeria’s growing visibility and success in international pageantry.
