A Nigerian gospel singer, Bunmi Akinnaanu, has died after battling with a swollen leg.
Her death was announced on Instagram on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in a statement issued by her colleague Ayo Melody. The statement was issued on behalf of her family, according to Melody.
Bunmi was popularly known for her hit song ‘Omije Ojumi’.
