A Nollywood actor, Odira Nwobu, has reportedly died suddenly in South Africa.
President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, is reported by local media in Nigeria to have confirmed Nwobu’s death.
Reports say Nwobu and eight other influencers had traveled to South Africa for work when he suddenly passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Rollas reportedly said an autopsy is expected to be done to ascertain the cause of death.
Unconfirmed reports however suggest that Nwobu suffered high blood pressure before he suddenly passed away in his room.
Hours before his passing, he had shared a photo of himself on social media.
