Netflix has unleashed the trailer for the highly anticipated third season of its hit reality series, Young, Famous & African, set to premiere on January 17th. The eight-episode season promises an explosive mix of fractured relationships, lavish parties, and shocking revelations, with a blend of returning favorites and exciting new additions to the cast.
This season, viewers will witness old friendships rekindle and new alliances form, all against the backdrop of opulent African lifestyles. “Old friends reconnect, and new faces join the Young, Famous & African family, bringing more epic ups and downs than ever before. From make-ups to dramatic breakups, all set in the lap of luxury, the season delivers baddies, babies, and everything in between,” teases the official synopsis.
South African content creator Kefilwe Mabote, Nollywood superstar Ini Edo, and entrepreneur Shakib Lutaaya are joining the glamorous ensemble. They will be rubbing shoulders with returning cast members including Zari “The Boss Lady” Hassan, Swanky Jerry, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Diamond Platnumz, Naked DJ, Kayleigh Schwark, Fantana, Luis Munana, Nadia Nakai, and Khanyi Mbau.
“This new season promises eight episodes that deliver more jaw-dropping drama, grander parties and explosive exchanges,” Netflix confirms. The trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse of the drama to come, hinting at fiery confrontations and luxurious escapades.
Behind the scenes, the show is helmed by creators Peace Hyde and Martin Asare Amankwa, with Urban Brew Studios and Apop Media handling production. Jwalane Letaba serves as showrunner, while Adelaide Joshua-Hill, Martin Asare-Amankwa, and Peace Hyde executive produce. Wesley Makgamatha directs the season.
