A Zambian woman, Maya Zimba, who reported missing earlier this year, has reportedly been found dead.
On January 5, 2026, Maya was reported missing. Social media platforms widely shared the alert as her family hoped for her return.
The search for her intensified, moving from place to place in the hope of finding her.
It was until the family checked at UniversityTeachingHospital (UTH) mortuary in Lusaka where they shockingly discovered Maya’s body.
According to local media outlet, Zambia Reports, police are yet to issue a statement on the matter as details regarding her death remain unknown.
