The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, says America will suffer “irreparable damage” if the US military gets involved in Iran’s ongoing war with Israel.
In a message on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, Khamenei says “war will be met with war, bombing with bombing, strike with strike.”
He vowed that “Iran will not submit to any demands or dictates.”
He warned that a US attack on Iran in support of Israel “without a doubt will cause irreparable damage.”
US President, Donald Trump had called for Iran’s “unconditional surrender” in a post on social media.
Addressing journalists outside the White House, he says “The next week is going to be very big…we cannot let Iran get a nuclear weapon.”
But President Trump also says Iran has reached out since the escalating strikes with Israel, saying he told the Iranians “…It’s very late,” adding that “there’s a big difference between now and a week ago.”
