President Donald Trump says Iran has asked America for a ceasefire but noted that the US has ordered the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz before any ceasefire can happen.
In a post on his Truth Social, President Trump says “Iran’s New Regime President… has just asked the United States… for a CEASEFIRE! We will consider when Hormuz Strait is open, free, and clear.”
He says “Until then, we are blasting Iran into oblivion… back to the Stone Ages.”
