Ghana’s main opposition party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says it will be embarking on a nationwide ‘Thank You Tour’ across Ghana following its massive defeat in Ghana’s December 7, 2024 parliamentary and presidential elections.

NPP will be led by its 2024 Presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on Tour which is expected to begin on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the party’s headquarters in Accra.

Among other things, the party is aiming to use the tour to express its profound gratitude to Ghanaians, especially its members for their support towards the party during the 2024 general elections.

NPP has themed the tour: “In All Things, Give Thanks to God”.

Dr. Bawumia and the rest of his team who are embarking on the tour with him will visit Ghana’s Western Region on April 26. Subsequently, they will visit the rest of Ghana’s 16 regions.

NPP and Dr. Bawumia lost the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections to incumbent President John Dramani Mahama and his ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
