Ghanaian dancehall superstar Shatta Wale has shared a passionate message with fans, fellow musicians, and the media following the success of his ShattaFest concert at Independence Square.
In a Facebook post, Shatta Wale encouraged other artistes in Ghana to believe in discipline and hard work, saying that what he achieved at the venue is possible for anyone willing to put in the effort.
“Any artiste in Ghana can also do what I did at the independence square discipline and hardwork, please let us stop comparing us the artistes, me am tired of this timing wasting statements,” he wrote.
The “1Don” hitmaker explained that his goal has always been to inspire Ghanaian youth to believe in themselves and in their dreams.
“I only came to show every youth the Road and that, ‘IMPOSSIBLE GO TURN POSSIBLE’,” he added.
Shatta Wale also used the opportunity to call on media houses, bloggers, presenters, and industry pundits to help change the narrative around Ghanaian music and its artistes.
“Media houses, bloggers, Tv and radio presenters, fans, artistes, pundits … It’s TIME for us to change the narratives .. TIME NO DEH 🥂👑,” he stated.
He further cautioned against dismissing his message, reminding the public that Ghana’s entertainment industry has global attention.
“No one Should undermine this statement because the world Is watching since most of you in the media space are not aware of that and speak anyhow on so many Platforms. Lets learn from the Job and that should be that 👍,” he wrote.
The post ended with his signature hashtags — #AFRICANKING, #1DON, and #SYMBOLOFHOPE — reinforcing his message of leadership, resilience, and hope for the African music scene.
