Police in Ghana have arrested a woman, Esther Nana Afia Sarfowaa, who was seen recently in a viral video beating a man.
She was arrested by the Inspector General of Police (IGP’s) Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
According to the police, another suspect, Stephen Ofori, was arrested at Nkawie in connection with the assault.
The Ghana Police Service further noted that three other individuals linked to the beating of the man remain at large, saying efforts are being made to arrest them.
