At least one person has reportedly died while several others have been injured after a cargo truck fell into a broken bridge in the North East Region of Ghana.
The accident happened between Jimbale and Wawa in the Yonyoo Nasuwani District. The truck was said to be transporting passengers and goods from Gbandiri Market.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened around 9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025.
The driver reportedly lost control of the truck, causing it to fall into the broken bridge.
The deceased taken to the Bunkpurugu Hospital. The injured were also taken to the same health facility for treatment.
