Authorities in Ghana have arrested five individuals for allegedly manufacturing and distributing fake DV number plates across Ghana.
Ghana’s Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) and National Security made the arrests in a joint operation.
The suspects were arrested at Lapaz and Nahrman in Accra, as well as Tarkwa and Kumasi, following intelligence linking them to the illegal production and circulation of the plates.
The DVLA in a press statement said the suspects have since been put before the court and remanded into custody.
