World football governing body, FIFA, has unveiled the official match ball for the 2026 World Cup.
The ball, produced by Adidas, has been named ‘Trionda’.
“The ball has been inspired by the colors of Canada, Mexico and the United States.”
It comes with a 500Hz motion sensor chip delivering insight into all ball movements, according to FIFA and Adidas.
Drawing inspiration from the colors and symbols of the three host nations—the American star, the Canadian maple leaf, and the Mexican eagle—the ball blends bold design with cultural homage. Its matte surface, adorned with embossed detailing, gives it a unique and sophisticated texture, designed to leave its mark on World Cup history.
