The Governor of the Central Bank of Ethiopia is scheduled to resign.
Governor Mamo Mihretu announced on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 that he was leaving government.
He has led the bank through deep economic reforms in Ethiopio.
He oversaw the flotation of the birr currency.
