The couple, who married in a private civil ceremony in 2022 shortly after the tragic passing of their son Ifeanyi, shared moments of love and appreciation for each other as they marked the occasion.

To commemorate the anniversary, Davido reposted a heartfelt message from a fan account on Instagram, adding a personal dedication to his wife:

Their journey to marriage has been both private and grand, encompassing various traditional and official milestones:
- January 2023: Chioma completed her bride price rites in Imo State.
- June 2024: The couple held a traditional ceremony in Lagos, attended by prominent figures from the music, political, and entertainment scenes.
- August 2025: They held their opulent white wedding in Miami, Florida, which reportedly cost over $3.7 million.
During the wedding ceremony, Davido emotionally described Chioma as his “peace” and “home,” praising her for accepting him fully, including the sides of him the public rarely sees. This anniversary marks another strong chapter in their life together.
