Chelsea has confirmed the permanent transfer of academy goalkeeper Kai Crampton to Bournemouth. The move marks the end of Crampton’s long journey at the club, having joined Chelsea’s development center at the Under-8 level and worked his way up through the ranks at Cobham.
During the 2023/24 season, Crampton was part of Chelsea’s Under-18 Premier League South-winning squad, making four appearances in league and cup competitions. He also gained experience with National League South side Hampton & Richmond during a matchday loan spell.
Chelsea bid farewell to Crampton with a statement wishing him success as he embarks on the next phase of his career.
