Chelsea Signs Alejandro Garnacho

Chelsea have secured the signing of 21-year-old winger Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United in a deal worth £40 million. The player has agreed to a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge, with United including a 10 per cent sell-on clause in the transfer.

Garnacho’s departure follows United manager Ruben Amorim informing him that he was not part of the club’s plans for the 2025/26 season.

He becomes Chelsea’s latest recruit after the arrivals of Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, and Jorrel Hato, alongside previously agreed signings Estevao, Dario Essugo, Mamadou Sarr, and Kendry Paez.

Speaking to Chelsea’s official website, Garnacho expressed his excitement, saying: “It’s an incredible moment for my family and I to join this great club. I can’t wait to get started. To join the world champions is special, we’re the best team in the world! It’s amazing to be here and I’m very happy.”
