Bawumia Campaign Vice Chair Nana Akomea Quits STC Job

Nana Akomea, the Managing Director of the State Transport Corporation (STC), has announced his resignation from the position on live radio.

Speaking on peace FM on February 11,Nana Akomea said that he stepped down from his position about two weeks ago,and the stuff at STC organized a farewell party to honor his service

According to him,the event was heartfelt moment as workers expressed their appreciation for his leadership by presenting him with several gifts .

Nana Akomea’s resignation is effective immediately, and it is believed that his decision is linked to his involvement in the Bawumia 2024 campaign team. As the Vice Chairman of the campaign team, Nana Akomea is expected to play a key role in supporting Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s bid for the presidential nomination of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
