Actor Yomi Fabiyi Claims to Have Video Evidence of Mohbad’s Killing, Calls for Tinubu’s Intervention

Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has sparked controversy by claiming he possesses a video that proves how late Nigerian singer Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Aloba) was killed. Fabiyi is calling on President Bola Tinubu to intervene immediately.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Yomi Fabiyi alleged that the video was sent to him by Mohbad’s younger brother, who purportedly attempted to use the footage to request money from the actor.

The Alleged Evidence and Call for Justice

Yomi Fabiyi stated he is putting his life on the line to ensure justice is served, insisting that the alleged video holds the key to uncovering the truth.

“I am putting my life on the line to make sure justice is done, this video proves what really happened, and it cannot be ignored, I will not stay silent while the truth is hidden and that responsible go unpunished,” he wrote in part.

The actor directly called on President Tinubu to intervene, citing “murder evidence and confession” in the video, and claimed that there is a political motive behind attempts to silence him.

“They want to silence me and use the video against you in the next election, your excellency, look into this matter. I don’t know why it is suddenly wrong to be loyal to your government. They want to use it against you in the next election, your excellency, please look into this matter.”

He named Wunmi Cynthia and others as suspects, emphasizing the importance of accountability and justice in the case.

Yomi’s claim has immediately resuscitated public interest in Mohbad’s death, leaving Nigerians wondering if this new alleged “evidence” will finally push the long-stalled investigation forward.
