Rapper 50 Cent has renewed his long-standing feud with music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, taking immediate jabs at him following Diddy’s sentencing to 50 months in federal prison on prostitution charges.
Moments after the verdict, 50 Cent (born Curtis Jackson) took to X (formerly Twitter) to publicly mock the situation, joking that he was available to replace Diddy at any planned speaking engagements. The sarcastic offer appeared to reference upcoming events in Miami that prosecutors had mentioned during the court hearing.
The two music industry figures have maintained a bitter rivalry for nearly two decades. The feud dates back to 2006, when 50 Cent released his diss track, “The Bomb,” alleging Diddy had knowledge regarding the murder of rapper Notorious B.I.G.
The intensity of the rivalry was underscored just a day before the sentencing, when 50 Cent posted a mock letter addressed to Judge Arun Subramanian. In the letter, he described his dispute with Combs, stating: “I have had an ongoing dispute with Puffy for over 20 years. He is very dangerous. Multiple times I have feared for my life.”
