ZuluBoy returns to the music industry with an intimate live show

Renowned actor and musician ZuluBoy, is set to make a grand return to the music industry with a live show at the Untitled Basement in Braamfontein on September 1.

 

Mxolisi Mgingqeni Majozi, known by his stage name ZuluBoy, will be gracing the stage with his first live performance after taking a break from music to focus on his acting career.

 

Fans and music enthusiasts can look forward to an intimate and engaging show as ZuluBoy plans to connect with his audience on a personal level.

 

In a recent live video on Instagram, ZuluBoy expressed his excitement about the upcoming performance.

 

“We are going to be live, up close and personal with Mpho. Come close, feel the music and vibe with me. I’m looking forward to that,” he said.

 

ZuluBoy also mentioned the release of his new single, signalling his return with a strong statement.

 

“I’m going to be giving people what they have been missing. ZuluBoy has come back with a new single ‘Mayibuye’, it’s time to make a statement,” the artist said.

 

He says the new single embodies a fusion of Haitian and South African spirit. ‘Mayibuye’ is a call for all Africans to come together, particularly in light of the state of affairs in Africa.

 

“It’s time for Africa to come back. iAfrica Mayibuye,” ZuluBoy said.

 

This event will also feature a line-up of artists such as Bongo Riot, Skeleton Blazer, Feezy, 3 Piece Band and Mpho Tshwale (Keys).
