The President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, is scheduled to pay a state visit to Ghana.
Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama, announced the visit in a post on social media on March 31, 2026.
Mr. Mahama says “I am looking forward to the upcoming State Visit to Ghana by His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe.”
He said “The 1 to 3 April visit will celebrate the historic bonds between Ghana and Zimbabwe. We are two countries whose destinies have been intertwined since the liberation struggles that shaped modern Africa. Our steadfast support for Zimbabwe’s independence movement remains a proud legacy that continues to shape our bilateral relations.”
He added that “Welcome to Accra, President Mnangagwa, and let us work to enhance the strategic partnership between our two nations.”
