The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the official schedule for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), set to be hosted in Morocco for the third consecutive time, from March 17 to April 3, 2026.
The announcement follows the 2024 tournament, where Nigeria’s Super Falcons clinched a 3-2 victory over hosts Morocco in a thrilling final on July 26, 2025. The 14th edition of WAFCON will see the final round of qualification matches take place from October 20–29, 2025, with Nigeria facing Benin, among other fixtures.
Notably, the top four teams in the 2026 tournament will secure automatic qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
