Social media personality VeryDarkMan has issued a detailed public apology following his physical altercation with comedian Mr Jollof aboard a commercial flight, taking full responsibility for the incident.
In a heartfelt video, he acknowledged the seriousness of his actions, admitting that the confrontation was entirely avoidable.
“What happened yesterday was avoidable. I was not supposed to do that. I am really, really sorry,” he said, emphasizing that his behavior was “total irresponsibility.”
Apology to Passengers and Crew
VeryDarkMan apologized directly to the passengers on the flight, recognizing the disruption and discomfort his behavior caused in the confined space. His apology also extended to the airline staff.
“I want to apologize to the passengers. It was total irresponsibility from my end,” he said.
Addressing the airline crew, including the pilot and flight attendants, he added, “To the pilot and the flight attendants, I am really, really sorry. I f*cked up.”
The apology also went out to his fans and followers, particularly those who look up to him, acknowledging that his actions might have disappointed them.
Commitment to Future Conduct
While he stated that he could not guarantee such incidents would never occur again in life, he reassured the public that he would ensure no similar altercation would happen in public spaces, specifically mentioning planes or buses.
