A United States (US) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent has shot a 37-year-old woman dead in Minneapolis.
The fatal shooting incident sparked protests overnight.
According to federal officials, the murdered woman, Renee Nicole Good, had attempted to run over immigration agents with her car.
But Mayor Jacob Frey said the agent who killed Renee acted recklessly.
Videos of the incident show ICE agents approaching a car which is in the middle of the street. As it attempts to drive off, one of them points his gun at the driver and at least two shots are heard, the BBC reported.
Reports say the FBI is investigating the incident.
