Trump’s Running Mate JD Vance’s Plane Forced Into Emergency Landing Over Door Malfunction
A Boeing aircraft transporting President Donald Trump’s running mate, Senator JD Vance, reportedly had to do an emergency landing at the Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport on Friday as a result of a door malfunction.
Due to the emergency landing, reports say JD Vance’s trip to Cincinnati was delayed.
Former President Trump’s plane faced similar mishap last week.
A report by The New York Times says the aircraft, a Boeing 737, was forced to land back at Milwaukee Mitchell International shortly after takeoff due to a problem with a door seal. The New York Times cited Trump-Vance campaign spokesperson Taylor Van Kirk as confirming the incident.
The issue was addressed quickly and Vance, his wife, staff members and others onboard continued to Cincinnati—Vance’s hometown, a report by The Washington Post revealed.
The New York Times reported that the Boeing used by Vance is 22 years old.
