Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi Reveal the Chaos and Cost of Planning Three Destination Weddings in Three Months

Billionaire daughter Temi Otedola Ajibade and her musician husband, Tosin Ajibade (Mr Eazi), have opened up about the immense stress and occasional disagreements that came with organizing their elaborate, multi-country wedding celebrations.

In a candid snippet from their podcast, #thehowfarpod, the couple reflected on the logistical challenges of their high-profile nuptials.

The Mountain of Administration

The couple confessed that their initial plans quickly escalated, resulting in a daunting schedule:

“Three weddings within three months, like that’s insane,” Temi said. “Three destination events in such a short time.”

Mr Eazi added, “And we still had one more to go.” He admitted he was surprised by the sheer complexity involved in formalizing their union.

“I thought getting married was just deciding you want to get married, and then you go to the court and sign papers. Little did I know there was a mountain of administration involved,” he confessed.

Monaco vs. The Private Ceremony

Mr Eazi revealed that the court wedding in Nigeria was meant to be simple and private, but when privacy proved difficult, a friend suggested bringing court officials to their residence for the civil ceremony.

“I thought that was cool, but you were like no, you’re not having that,” he recalled of Temi’s initial resistance.

Temi clarified that she wasn’t strongly opposed but was ultimately glad they went with her preferred location: Monaco. She explained her choice of destination over the UK: “Because it does not feel like a true link for me, like a real reason. Even Monaco is more sentimental.”

The podcast revelation provides a relatable glimpse into the reality of blending high-profile expectations with personal logistics, even for one of Africa’s most watched couples.
