Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tacha, has weighed in on the recent disqualification of Season 2025 contestant Faith, asserting that his removal from the house was completely justified.
Speaking in an interview on TVC, Tacha stressed that the sanctity of the BBNaija rule book must be upheld, particularly regarding physical violence.
Crossing the Line
Tacha emphasized that Faith’s actions during a confrontation with fellow housemate Sultana went too far, resulting in the latter sustaining injuries. She was uncompromising in her stance on the rules.
“There’s a rule book in the house,” Tacha stated. “You can’t be physical with another housemate. Once that line is crossed, Big Brother has every right to take action.”
This argument aligns with BBNaija’s consistent policy of zero tolerance for physical altercations, regardless of provocation.
Confidence and Consequences
The reality star also suggested that Faith’s perceived attitude played a role in Big Brother’s decision. She pointed to his apparent lack of remorse during his diary room session as a potential factor influencing his immediate disqualification.
Drawing a parallel from her own journey, Tacha commented on the importance of perspective: “Even if I get evicted, I see myself as a winner,” suggesting that Faith’s confidence may have led him to underestimate the severe consequences of his actions.
Online Debate
Tacha’s defense has ignited significant discussion online. While many fans agree with her interpretation of the show’s rules, others have criticized her for commenting on a disqualification, citing her own controversial exit from the BBNaija house in 2019 following an altercation. Her remarks, however, continue to drive debate on the fairness and consistency of the show’s rules enforcement.
