American singer, Summer Walker, has officially confirmed her romance with Chicago drill rapper Rico Recklezz, but not everyone is thrilled about the news. The “Girls Need Love” singer sparked dating rumors earlier this month after Rico posted a series of photos on social media, including a FaceTime screenshot, a bouquet of flowers, and a card asking “Will you be mine?”
The photos, which have since been edited, also showed Rico and Walker smiling together in front of a Christmas tree. Rico’s caption, “God sent me to fix her heart,” further fueled the rumors. Walker had previously posted photos of herself holding the same bouquet and “Will you be mine” poster, which seemed to confirm the rumors.
However, it wasn’t until Christmas Day that Walker officially confirmed the relationship by posting photos of herself and Rico wearing matching pajamas and holding hands. A second photo showed her in Rico’s arms.
Despite the confirmation, fans are not entirely convinced that the relationship is genuine. Some have expressed skepticism about Rico’s intentions, while others have criticized Walker for moving on too quickly from her previous relationships.
