Ronald Fenty, the father of Rihanna, has died at the age of 70.
According to Starcom Network News, a media outlet in Rihanna’s home country of Barbados, Fenty died in Los Angeles following “a brief illness.”
Rihanna was born to Fenty and mother Monica Braithwaite in February 1988.
U.S. media outlet TMZ reported that Rajad Fenty, Rihanna’s brother arrived at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre on May 28. Rihanna was reportedly seen in a vehicle at the hospital where their father was taking treatment.
