Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has returned home from a state visit to Turkey where he embarrassingly stumbled and fell during a ceremonial welcome in Ankara.
The plane conveying President Tinubu arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport in Abuja at 8:55pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
Nigeria’s presidency confirmed Tinubu’s arrival in a brief notice issued to state house correspondents on Saturday evening.
