Zimbabwean President, Emmerson Mnangagwa, has presented vehicles to each of Zimbabwe’s 60 agricultural districts.
The handing over of the 60 vehicles to the agricultural districts aims at boosting the efficiency and performance of Zimbabwe’s agriculture sector.

Aside the vehicles, President Mnangagwa also presented 30 grain carriers. 20 of the carriers were allocated to Zimbabwe’s Grain Marketing Board (GMB) and 10 to the Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (ARDA).
President Mnangagwa further handed over 6,000 Starlink-enabled portable energy stations which are to be used Zimbabwe’s agricultural extension officers to enhance service delivery and connectivity in remote areas.
In a statement to hand over the vehicles and carriers, President Mnangagwa pointed out the importance of empowering the agricultural sector through increased resources and capacity building.
The President observed the need for well-trained, committed personnel to drive Zimbabwe’s agricultural vision forward.
