Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama, has received a earm welcome from the Ghanaian community in Lyon, France.
Mr. Mahama is France to co-host of the global One Health Summit.
He will later today co-chair the summit with French President, Emmanuel Macron.
The summit has attracted over 3,000 participants including policymakers, public health experts, scientists and activists.
Ghana’s Foreign Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, says in a post on Facebook that “After the summit, President Emmanuel Macron will host President John Mahama tomorrow at the Élysée Palace for an official visit expected to advance our strategic bilateral relations.”
