President John Dramani Mahama has nominated seven justices of the Appeal Court of Ghana to be considered for appointments as judges of the country’s Supreme Court.
A statement issued by Callistus Mahama Ph.D, the Secretary to President Mahama, said the nominations of the justices was pursuant to Article 144 (2) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.
The nominated justices are: Justice Sir Dennis Dominic Adjei, Justice Gbiel Simon Suubaareh, Justice Senyo Dzamefe, Justice Kweku Tawiah Ackaah-Boafo, Justice Philip Bright Mensah, Justice Janapare Bartels-Kodwo, and Justice Hafisata Amaleboba.
