The public fallout between Queen Dami, the estranged wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, and controversial street-hop artist Portable has taken an explosive turn. Just hours after Queen Dami filed a legal petition against Portable for cyberbullying and denied any romantic involvement, the singer responded by releasing alleged private conversations and financial records.
Portable’s Rebuttal: The “Receipts”
In a series of now-deleted Instagram stories, Portable shared screenshots of alleged chat logs between himself and Queen Dami dated January 1, 2026. The evidence presented by the singer aimed to disprove Dami’s statement that she had “nothing to do with him.”
- Financial Transactions: One screenshot appears to show a bank transfer of ₦200,000 from Portable to Dami, a gesture the singer claims she acknowledged and thanked him for.
- Ongoing Support: Portable alleged that he has been consistently paying her bills until very recently, questioning why she would publicly distance herself now.
Accusations of Ingratitude
Visibly irritated during his social media address, Portable accused Queen Dami of dishonesty and ingratitude. He suggested that his support was both financial and emotional, and expressed frustration over her legal petition.
In his characteristic style, the singer wrote:
“I do a lot for them, but them no appreciate. Make una sha try dey appreciate who dey help una. King don’t lie. You wey don go, wetin you want make I tell you? Why you dey lie? I still dey pay your bills. Why you dey lie say I no dey exist again.”
The Original Petition: Cyberbullying and Blackmail
The escalation follows Queen Dami’s formal legal action where she labeled Portable’s claims of a reconciliation as “disrespectful, harmful, and unacceptable.” Dami had previously stated that any narrative suggesting they were dating or intimate was completely manufactured for the purpose of blackmail.
By posting the “receipts,” Portable has attempted to flip the narrative, framing himself as a benefactor who has been betrayed.
Growing Intensity of the Conflict
As both parties move the conflict from private messages to the public square, the situation has become one of the most contentious celebrity disputes of the year. While Queen Dami’s legal petition is currently active, Portable’s decision to leak private financial interactions has raised further concerns regarding digital privacy and the ethics of social media “exposés.”
As of now, Queen Dami has not responded to the specific screenshots shared by Portable.
