Police in the US have released the mugshot of popstar, Justin Timberlake, after they arrested him on the charge of driving while intoxicated (DWI).
Timberlake was arrested in New York after midnight for driving while drunk, according to local media reports. Police had reportedly pulled over his grey BMW for driving through a stop sign and failing to stay on the right side of the road, the police charge sheet reportedly revealed.
The charge sheet further revealed that when police stopped Timberlake, his eyes were “bloodshot and glassy” and a “strong odour of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath.”
Police later released him without bail. The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office reportedly stated that Timberlake was formally charged.
