Nottingham Forest have officially announced that full-back Ola Aina has signed a new contract, committing his future to the club until the summer of 2028, ahead of the 2025/2026 Premier League season.
The Nigerian international was a standout performer during the 2024/2025 season, making 37 appearances across all competitions, which prompted Forest to secure his services on a longer-term deal.
A product of Chelsea’s youth academy, Aina previously played for Hull City, Torino, and Fulham before joining Nottingham Forest. Speaking after the contract renewal, Aina expressed his excitement: “I’m absolutely thrilled. From the moment I arrived, it’s felt like home here. I’m grateful for the support and now focused on getting ready for the new season.”
Forest’s owner, Evangelos Marinakis, praised Aina’s contributions, stating: “Ola brings quality, resilience, and the right attitude. He represents the values we stand for as a club. We’re excited to continue building with him as part of the team.”
