Kenyan President, William Ruto, has told his political opponents that no amount of noise or opposition from them will derail his administration’s transformation agenda for Kenya.
He made this known on Sunday, August 10, 2025, after inspecting some housing projects and interacting with hundreds of construction workers.
He says his administration remains committed to delivering Kenya’s Affordable Housing Programme, “not only to expand access to decent, affordable homes but also to double jobs in the sector from 320,000 to 640,000.”
Mr. Ruto said in Kiambu County, his administration is building 15,000 housing units to complement those in Nairobi County and its environs to meet the growing housing needs of our capital city, adding that he was “Pleased with the progress of the 705-unit Limuru Affordable Housing Project, now 70 per cent complete and set for handover in January 2026.”
