Charles Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has been re-elected governor of Nigeria’s Anambra State.
Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the results from all 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Anambra State on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
INEC says a total of 584,054 votes were recorded across the state on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
According to INEC, Soludo polled a commanding victory with 422,664 votes, far ahead of his closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 99,445 votes. Other results include ADC: 8,208 votes and PDP: 1,401 votes.
State Collation Officer and Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, Prof. Edogah Omoregie, announced the figures after the collation exercise on Sunday at the commission’s headquarters in Awka.
