Mzbel Claims Biblical ‘Number of the Beast’ is Already Here via the Internet

Ghanaian songstress and entrepreneur Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, has sparked a significant conversation regarding modern technology and religious prophecy. In a candid interview with renowned blogger Zion Felix, the singer argued that the biblical “number of the beast” (666) is not a future threat but an existing reality embodied in the internet and modern technology.

The Internet as ‘666’

Mzbel posited that the famous biblical symbol is already a daily part of human life. She suggested that the global reliance on smartphones and digital connectivity constitutes the fulfillment of the feared prophecy.

“People are waiting for the beast to appear, but it’s already here. 666 is already here and it’s the internet we all use. If you don’t use a smartphone and the internet, then you haven’t taken it, but if you use a smartphone and the internet, then you have already embraced it,” Mzbel stated.

She argued that tools like mobile phones, television, and modern financial systems are not neutral but carry deep spiritual significance that influences human interaction and survival. Mzbel noted that since it is nearly impossible for people to live without these technologies today, everyone has effectively become an automatic participant in these prophetic systems.

‘Spiritual Trade’ on Streaming Platforms

The “16 Years” hitmaker extended her analysis to the music industry, specifically targeting digital streaming platforms like iTunes and Spotify. She described these services as more than just business entities, calling them “spiritual platforms.”

According to Mzbel, the process of music distribution in the digital age involves a transfer of energy:

  • The Claim: She believes these platforms are spiritually connected to creators.
  • The Quote: “They call it technology or science because they want it to sound nice in your ear, but it is spiritual and it’s not free. If you are a musician and put your songs there, it’s a spiritual trade. They take your energy.”

Denouncing Christianity for African Spirituality

Mzbel used the platform to reiterate her long-standing position on organized religion. Several years ago, she publicly denounced Christianity, a stance she maintains to this day.

  • Reason for Leaving: She cited the failure of many professing Christians to practice the teachings they preach as a primary reason for her departure.
  • Finding Peace: The singer revealed she has found alignment and peace in African spirituality, which she says resonates more deeply with her personal values.

Humorously describing herself as an “ambassador” for the new system because she cannot live a minute without her phone, Mzbel concluded that while society views these shifts as “science,” the underlying reality remains profoundly spiritual.
