Kylian Mbappe
French football superstar, Kylian Mbappe – who has enjoyed an illustrious footballing career so far – has brought an end to his stay with French giants, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Mbappe, the 25-year-old 2018 World Cup winner with France, announced his departure from PSG in a video posted on social media Friday.
According to Mbappe, he will leave PSG at the end of this season.
Addressing PSG officials, fans, his teammates, Mbappe says “I want to say thank you because without you all, I would have never experienced half of the emotions I felt. And just for that, I am grateful for life. Thank you all. I hope we will finish this year with a last trophy.”
Mbappe joined PSG as a 17-year-old in 2017 from AS Monaco.
Over the course of seven years, Mbappe was successful in becoming PSG all-time leading scorer, leading the Ligue 1 club to six league titles.
Mbappe will play his final game at the Parc des Princes on Sunday, May 12, when PSG play host to Toulouse in their Ligue 1 encounter.
Mbappe in his video message did not announce where he was going next in his club career.
But renowned Italian sports journalists, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on Instagram that Mbappe will be joining Spanish Champions, Real Madrid.
