Ghana’s President, John Mahama and his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, have co-chaired a major global One Health Summit in Lyon, bringing together over 3,000 participants from across the world in a renewed push for collaborative public health solutions.
The summit, which has attracted policymakers, scientists, public health experts, and activists, is being hailed as a significant moment for multilateral cooperation, particularly in addressing interconnected health challenges affecting humans, animals, and the environment.

The summit is taking place under the banner “Together for Health. Stand with Science,” emphasizing the urgency of unified global action in the face of emerging health threats.
