Elizabeth Rolat-Abiola (aka Leez) has released her first single of the year entitled: “Once Chance.”
The love themed song, according to the actress cum singer, was inspired by the disparity between a butterfly and eagle.
“The song was inspired by the disparity between a butterfly and an eagle. A butterfly is beautiful, it has qualities of rebirth and endurance, while an eagle has focus, foresight, courage, wisdom, determination, and energy,” said Leez.
Leez explained the song’s relevance to life, especially in relationships. “An eagle soars high,while a butterfly flies high. The song is relatable to our daily lives, in a relationship scenario, men ask ladies what they bring to the table, the norm a lady would say is beauty, rebirth, and endurance which are attributes of a butterfly. Many men want an eagle that is dynamic and unique.”
Addressing her seamless combination of acting and singing, Leez stated: “They are interwoven. So, I don’t really have difficulty doing both. When it’s time to act I give it my very best likewise music too.”
Despite her proficiency in special effects in movies, Leez stated her status as an independent artist actively seeking investors to propel her craft. She said: “It’s not a very easy task but I’m doing all I can to make sure I get to the top. I need investors, someone or a group, to come in and support me. I believe we all need someone.”
