Kylian Mbappé has expressed his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, stating it would have been an incredible experience to play alongside the legendary forward. Mbappé, who recently joined Real Madrid, shared his thoughts in an interview with beIN SPORTS.
“I’ve played with great players like Messi, Neymar, Griezmann, and Pogba,” Mbappé said. “It would have been cool to play with Cristiano Ronaldo, but it’s going to be difficult now. I was lucky enough to play against him, and he’s a legend of the sport.”
Mbappé also named Zinedine Zidane as another football icon he would have loved to play with. This sentiment comes after Mbappé helped Real Madrid secure the Intercontinental Cup title, his second trophy since joining the Spanish giants.
The 25-year-old French forward has already made a significant impact at Real Madrid, scoring 13 goals and providing three assists in 23 matches. His impressive performance has helped Carlo Ancelotti secure two trophies so far—the UEFA Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup.
Mbappé’s admiration for Ronaldo is no surprise, given the Portuguese star’s exceptional skills and achievements. Ronaldo, now playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, remains Real Madrid’s all-time leading scorer with 450 goals in 438 games.
