Ghanaian rapper Kofi Mole, born Edward Amoah, has officially launched legal action in response to damaging and false claims circulating on social media, particularly TikTok. The allegations, which accuse the artist of drug abuse and related health complications, have been firmly rejected by his legal team as “wholly untrue, baseless, and without lawful justification.”
In a strongly worded cease and desist notice issued by his lawyers, Kofi Mole’s team condemned the viral content, which they say grossly misrepresents remarks made during a recent interview. The statement accused the creators of the content of deliberately distorting his words with the intent to harm his reputation and expose him to “public ridicule, contempt, and disrepute.”
The notice further outlined the serious consequences of the defamatory claims, citing emotional distress, damage to the artist’s public image, and the loss of significant business opportunities.

As part of their demands, Kofi Mole’s legal team is calling for:
-
The immediate retraction of all false and defamatory content.
-
A public apology to be published weekly for eight consecutive weeks.
-
A halt to any further spread of the misinformation.
They made it clear that failure to comply will result in full legal proceedings.
