Police in Kenya have arrested the man who allegedly killed 42 people at Kware dumpsite in Mukuru Kwa Njenga, Nairobi County, and wrapped their body parts in polythene bags.
The suspect, identified by police as Collins Jumaisa, was arrested at an entertainment center in Kayole. He confessed to killing at least 42 individuals, according to Police.
Police said the suspect was found in possession of several sim cards, 8 smartphones, and 8 Identity Cards said to belong to persons he killed.
Nairobi County Governor, Johnson Sakaja, confirmed on Sunday that 8 bodies and 12 body parts have been retrieved from the dumpsite as further investigation into the horrific incident continues.
Families whose loved ones were missing have visited the Nairobi Funeral Home, formerly City Mortuary, to identify their relatives from the retrieved bodies.
