Kobbie Mainoo
Manchester United midfielder, Kobbie Mainoo, has stated that he’s proud of his Ghanaian heritage but that it has been his dream to play for England.
According to Mainoo, he’s happy to be playing for England.
He said in a post-match interview recently that “I am proud of my Ghanaian heritage, and there were speculations and what-not, but it’s always been a dream to play for England, so I am happy to be here.”
He noted that he only wanted to play for England despite being eligible for Ghana.
