Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has dismissed claims that he’s killing opposition politicians in Nigeria.
According to him, he has been accused of killing opposition politicians in the country despite not having license to own a gun.
Mr. Tinubu was speaking during an interfaith breaking of fast (Iftar) with Nigerian Senators at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
He says he would not blame individuals who choose to leave what he termed as a “sinking ship.”
He acknowledged the economic and security challenges facing Nigeria, citing terrorism and banditry as major threat causing problems across the country.
